Quality Razor
"Excellent quality razor. Good weight and balance in the hand . Blades are unbeatable quality and are easily replaced. I also use a cut throat razor and have found this double edge razor to be just as good . Blades stay sharp and are a fair price . I always take the blade out after shaving and give it and the razor a good clean which leaves the razor in mint condition ready for the next shave ."
Lovely product, much better than a plastic nasty.
"I love the traditional (stainless) steel razor. It is quite heavy, if you are used to a plastic throwaway nasty, but by contrast, feels solid. With no plastic, it can be recycled and the blades are easy to change. There are only two small things dislike. Firstly, that WS should make a carry case for the razor (and blades) for when you are travelling and secondly the razor blades case is a little rubbish and should be redesigned."
horrible supplier expereince
"Anyone looking to buy please dont botther , it looks like wilkinson has outsourced shipping to supplier , who accepted the order , charged the card, 3 days after advised of delay, when questioned simply cancelled the order without communication and product is now out of stock (again after valentines day). I would go with other online suppliers than this website. completely disappointed , wilkinson should have respected the order than cancelling it WITHOUT any communication"
Return to double edged razor blades.
"I have returned to double edged razor blades after a long spell with cartridge razor blades. This is mainly because I think cartridge razor blades are less economical. I also like the neatness of the double edged razor and the fact that it creates minimal amounts of waste in disposal. Likewise, I suspect the shaving brush and bowl are more economic and less wasteful than aerosol cans of shave gel. Obviously the blades are particularly sharp and in the past I have reused them over several shaves. I am very satisfied with my purchase both in terms of quality of shave and value for money. I like that the system is simple and effective."

"A balanced safety razor. I used it in my teens, then other Wilkinson cartridges razors, back to Safety Razor. Started gingerly to get used to it. . getting there without a nick! Good stuff!"

"Solid, well made traditional safety razor. After years of plastic multi blades I went back to the razor I used in the army. I’ve read some reviews on here from people who cut themselves, it’s just a question of using no pressure and letting the weight of the razor do the work. I also use a cutthroat and that can get messy. I’ve just shaved after 6 days without, I needed to lather up twice, but now all is smooth and comfortable with no post shave burn. I also always use Wilkinson Sword blades, I’ve tried others but WS last better and the initial edge is excellent. On the whole an excellent product and over a year a real money saver."
