    "Thank you for the funniest moment of Christmas so far. Absolutely hilarious. I ordered and paid for the blades on 01/12. emailed on 9/12 and 10/12 and asked for information on delivery dates and when I might expect the razor blades. NO REPLY. Annoyed with being ignored, the last three emails (12/12, 13/12 and 14/12) have asked for the order to be cancelled and my payment refunded via PayPal. NO REPLY. Even emailed Wilkinson accounts dept - NO REPLY. I strongly object to having to give one star as a review. NO PRODUCT + NO DELIVERY + NO CUSTOMER SERVICE = NO STARS. System won't even let me put a review title in. Suggest you buy Gillette, as I have now done."

    "Went back to trying the Quattro again after receiving a message that WS would no longer be selling the Protector Blades. I also took an opportunity to buy a Hydro 5 Ultimate from Boots when they were selling it at half price as a comparison. Firstly the Quattro offers similar wire blade guards to the Protector - which I have always found worked extremely well. I find that, compared to the Protector, the aloe vera strip at the top and skin stretcher at the bottom worked very well and it glides across your skin very smoothly - and is better than the Protector in this respect. I also liked that the fat that the aloe strip goes a lighter colour when you use it - so its easy to tell if you’ve used the blade before - the Protector stayed the same colour. The head of the Quattro blade is small by moderns standards, but slightly bigger than the Protector, and I have to say that I thought the Protector gave a slightly better shave adjacent my lips - although maybe the Quattro is slightly better on my neck - overall they were very close. The Quattro blade does also have an edge trimmer, where as the Protector did not - although to be honest, due to the compact nature of the size of the head, I’m not sure how much use I’ll make of this. I have to say I by far prefer both the Quattro and Protector to the Hydro 5. For me the Hydro 5 head is too big, and I found that around my lips it just didn’t follow the contour of my face like the Protector or Quattro did - but it was very good on the larger, flatter, sections of your face. Perhaps, as I’ve got used to the Protector and the Quattro wire guards, I found that with the Hydro 5 I was more prone to minor cuts and grazes. However, maybe if I shaved with the Hydro 5 for a longer period I would avoid this. I also though the Hydro 5 gel system was overkill. I watched a youtube video where the person said that you could shave without using anything else to lubricate (I usually use Shaving Oil) but when I tried this I found it uncomfortable - but when I did use my normal oil I found the gel just added more gloop to your face that was not required. So in summary - the Quattro is by far my preferred choice of razor that is currently on the market. It provides an excellent close, smooth and above all SAFE shave. However, if WS review these comments, then in my opinion the ultimate would be a modern Protector 3D (the handle design is superbly ergonomic) with 3 blades - but with the same aloe vera lubricating strip and skin spreader as the Quattro. In respect of the Hydro 5 - I can understand why some people may like it - it is a very good razor - but in my personal opinion I just prefer the Quattro and Protector."
