Barber's Style Sampling Trial T&C's

TRIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. These are the terms and conditions which apply to the Wilkinson Sword Barber’s Style free sample promotion (“Free Sample”). By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.
  2. This Free Sample promotion is only open to residents of the UK who are aged 18 years or over, except for employees of Wilkinson Sword UK Limited (the "Promoter") and their families, and of its subsidiary companies, their agencies and anyone professionally connected with the Free Sample promotion.
  1. Subject to paragraph 6, this Free Sample promotion opens on 6th March 2023 at 14.00 BST and closes 31st May 2023 at 17.00 BST or when all 10,000 sample packs have been claimed (whichever is sooner) (“Promotion Period”). No purchase of a product is necessary to enter into this Free Sample promotion.
  1. To have the chance of being selected to receive a Sample Pack as referred to below, you must:
    1. visit the Wilkinson Sword microsite at https://trial.wilkinsonsword.com/barbers-style/ and complete all of the survey and data capture questions;
    2. If you qualify to receive a Sample Pack, be willing to pay the £2.50 to cover P&P fees
    3. Provide your postal address so that the Promoter can send your Sample Pack.
    4. Opt-in to receiving newsletter and other email communications from the brand
  2. A Free Sample promotion “Sample Pack” contains either:
    1. Beard pack: 1 x full size Moisturiser 87ml and 1x full size beard balm 56g
    2. Skin pack: 1 x full size Moisturiser 87ml and 1x full size shave cream 177ml
  1. Successful completion of the survey is subject to the following requirements and conditions. You must:
    1. Be resident in the UK
    2. Be between 18 and 54 years of age;
    3. With over 100 followers
  1. Only one Sample Pack per household and email address. Multiple applications will be rejected.
  1. You will be notified immediately following your completion of the survey questions if you have been successful in qualifying for the Sample Pack. No correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
  1. The Sample Packs available under this Free Sample promotion are subject to availability. The Promoter only has 10,000 Sample Packs to give away (5,800 shave and 4,200 beard packs). Once this number of Sample Packs has been reached the Free Sample promotion will end.
  1. Use of your information. The Promoter respects your privacy and will use the personal information provided to:
  1. identify qualifying applicants;
  2. distribute the Sample Packs to each qualifying applicant;
  3. send emails regarding the Free Sample, offers, competitions and ongoing marketing communications to you; and
  4. administer the Free Sample promotion.

It is in the Promoter’s legitimate interest to process your personal data in order to run this Free Sample promotion and distribute the Sample Packs. The Promoter may email you regarding the Free Sample promotion and to send you other marketing communications, the Promoter will only send such communications if you have consented by clicking on the link in the double opt-in email or has another lawful basis to do so. You can withdraw your consent at any point by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all our emails.

  1. For the purpose of administering the Free Sample promotion, the Promoter will share your personal information with:
  1. Venture Blue, the fulfilment house in order to deliver your Sample Pack;
  2. Campaign Monitor, who provide the Promoter’s email system in order to send the Free Sample promotion emails [and / or any marketing emails].
  1. The Promoter will keep your information for the duration of the Free Sample promotion and up to a maximum of 6 months from the end of the Free Sample promotion, unless you have opted in to receiving marketing communications in which case the Promoter will retain your personal information for as long as you remain subscribed to the database. For further information on how the Promoter may process your personal information and to find out details about your rights, please review the Promoter’s privacy policy.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute the Sample Pack for a sample pack of equivalent or greater value if in all reasonable circumstances it is unable to provide the intended Sample Pack.
  1. The Promoter retains the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold Sample Packs without liability if in its view your application is invalid, or you do not meet the necessary requirements as set out in these terms and conditions.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Free Sample promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
  1. Non-Confidential Information. Any communication or other material that you send to the Promoter through the internet or by making a post on the Promoter's Facebook page or otherwise, such as any feedback, photos, comments and suggestions, is and will be deemed to be non-confidential and the Promoter shall have no obligation of any kind with respect to it. The Promoter shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in these communications and materials for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products.
  1. The Promoter will not be responsible for transmission, network and/or computer or software errors which affect the logging of applications in relation to the Free Sample promotion, and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for applications invalidated by technical problems beyond the control of the Promoter or problems accessing the website. Incomplete entries will not be accepted.
  1. All Internet charges incurred in relation to this Free Sample promotion are your responsibility.
  2. The £2.50 postage fees are incurred when the free trial pack is delivered to the postal address supplied by qualifying applicants. No refunds will be provided for this postage fee under any circumstances.

  3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, except for liability arising from fraud or from death or personal injury caused by negligence, the Promoter excludes all liability whatsoever to you in relation to this Free Sample promotion and the Sample Packs which are supplied.

  4. This Free Sample promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and any disputes arising in connection with this Free Sample promotion and/or these terms and conditions, are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. You can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in the English courts. If you live in Scotland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.
